Can You Help Choose the Right Line Marking & Car Park Setout for Our Project?

1000%. Whether it’s apartments, mixed-use, or residential car parks, we guide you on what’s required under NSW standards and your DA conditions - no guesswork. We’ll review your plans, flag compliance issues early, and recommend the right line marking, signage, wheel stops, bollards, mirrors, and accessories for your site.

You send the plans. We handle the setout, compliance, and execution.

Can You Work Around Construction Staging and Tight Handover Deadlines?

Absolutely. We regularly work:

- Between trades
- After final sealing
- In staged basement handovers
- During OC or PCA sign-off windows

We plan works to suit your program and keep disruption minimal - no delays, no rework.

What Does Your Quote Include for Line Marking & Car Park Accessories?

Our quotes are scope-complete and DA-aware - no surprises mid-job. Included in every quote:

✔ Full line marking scope (bays, arrows, hatching, symbols, wording)
✔ Supply & install of car park accessories (wheel stops, bollards, signage, mirrors)
✔ Australian Standards–compliant layouts (AS 2890 & AS 1742)
✔ Surface prep assessment before works
✔ Staging advice to suit construction programs
✔ Clear exclusions so nothing gets missed.

We price it properly the first time.

We’re Not Sure If Our Architect’s Car Park Layout Is Compliant... Can You Check It?

Yes - and this happens more often than you’d think. We regularly identify:

- Non-compliant bay sizes
- Incorrect aisle widths
- Missing accessible or visitor parking
- Poor bollard or wheel stop placement
- Fire access or service vehicle conflicts

Catching this early avoids re-marking, DA issues, and handover delays. We help make sure it passes before final inspections.

What NSW Standards Do Your Line Marking & Accessories Comply With?

All works are carried out in accordance with NSW-relevant Australian Standards, including:

AS 2890.1 – Off-street car parking
AS 2890.6 – Accessible parking
AS 1742.11 – Parking signs & markings
✔ NCC / DA conditions (project-specific)

If it needs to be compliant for OC sign-off, certifier approval, or handover, we build to that standard.

What Surfaces Can You Apply Line Marking To?

We can apply line marking to most car park surfaces as long as the substrate is suitable. Common compliant surfaces include:

✔ Sealed concrete
✔ Power-floated concrete (after curing)
✔ Asphalt
✔ Basement slabs (with correct prep)

Before marking, we assess adhesion, moisture, dusting, and curing - so the lines last, not peel.

What Are Common Line Marking or Car Park Compliance Issues?

Some of the most common problems we see:

⚠️ Bays marked too small
⚠️ Missing or incorrectly sized accessible spaces
⚠️ Incorrect shared zones or hatching
⚠️ Wheel stops placed outside AS tolerances
⚠️ Visitor parking not clearly identified
⚠️ Fire routes or no-parking zones not marked

We flag these upfront and advise the most efficient fix, before it becomes a defect. Basically any type of surfaces which may require treatment or rework.
